Adopt-a-Highway Program
In the fall
of 1996, we officially became a member of the State’s Adopt-a-Highway
program with responsibility for two miles of PA Rte 282 from Shyrock
Paper Company at Dorlan’s Mill Road upstream to Lyndell at the west
entrance to Marsh Creek State Park. We conduct four clean-ups a year.

We had great weather and a good
turnout for this years Adopt-A-Highway cleanup program. Thanks to
Darrell McKenrick, we had a whole troop of Boy Scouts show up to help and
earn another badge. Great job everyone!! This couldn't be done
without your help and dedication to your club.
Trying to get the troops organized
A few more people showed up as we got started. |
